The pool is to remain closed until the end of this term.

We have secured alternative swimming for all our swimmers, and nobody should be without the offer of a swimming space for the remainder of this term. Please do contact us at and for a Saturday morning or a Sunday morning swim between half term and the end of this term.

The pool closes at Half Term next week, and will remain closed until the second half of next term, the Autumn term, opening at the end of October/early November. For interest in swimming spaces at Oakhyrst, please let us know as we have alternative swimming for these swimmers and any wishing to join us once Oakhyrst is up and running again.

Saturday mornings from 8am
Sunday mornings from 9am

At Moor House School, Hurst Green.

Aquarius Swimming Club operates in the Tandridge area of Surrey, at venues in Caterham, Warlingham and Oxted.

Founded in 1978, Aquarius is well regarded within the local community, and has received national awards for teaching from both the Amateur Swimming Association and the Royal Life Saving Society.

Aquarius focuses on the development of the individual as an all-round swimmer. We encourage participation in nationally recognised programmes of awards and badges, enabling swimmers and their parents to track their progress.

Once basic swimming skills have been developed, we keep swimmers interested by introducing activities like water polo, earlydiving skills and life-saving, as well as swimming for fitness.

In addition, we are very pleased to be able to support the Tandridge Aquarius Swimming Squad (TASS).

We're pleased to say that swimmers stay with Aquarius for many years. Most of our teachers learned to swim with us as children, and many former pupils bring their own children to us for lessons.

From January 2009 we adopted the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming. Read our NPTS parental guide. In 2012 we adopted the RLSS Survive and Save Programme.

We know many people have Facebook on their smartphones, and it is such a quick way to reach you. Please would you go onto our Facebook page and do lots of ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ so we can spread the word. We also want to hear from our swimmers about any swimming or watery achievements that they have to share with us. Please send to us at or so we can post and share.
